EVER watched Total Wipeout, Ninja Warriors or Gladiators and fancied giving it a go yourself?
This summer you can as TV game show-inspired obstacle event Rough Runner heads to Arley Hall for the first time.
The event on June 16 and 17 combines distance running, with a choice of a 5km, 10km or 15km course, with up to 20 obstacles along the way from TV shows including Takeshi's Castle before finishing on the Travelator from Gladiators.
Obstacles include a punch wall, giant ball pool, 'hang rough' and the sweeper from Wipeout.
A spoksman added: "Having had over 12,000 Roughians in three years take on our obstacles at the Manchester event each October, it’s time to give you a new venue and better weather to enjoy it in.
"With a 5km, 10km and 15km route available in a stunning new estate, with rolling meadows and forest paths throughout, you’ll have a host of natural obstacles along with up to 20 of our epic, game-show inspired challenges."
Prices are frozen until January 7 for the event and range from £38 for an individual taking part in the 5km course on Sunday or £34 for a team up to £50 for an individual taking part in the 15km course on Saturday or £45 for a team.
Spectators have free access to the course.
