KNUTSFORD Academy and the Rotary Club of Knutsford joined forces to host a charity concert in front of a packed audience earlier this month.
The show ‘There’s No Business Like Show Business’ saw performing arts students perform songs from musicals.
Many of the sixth form performers also sang solo numbers, with acting, singing and dancing combined and choreographed by the students.
Helen Mayne, head of performing arts at the Academy, said: “We continue to be very proud of the performance achievements of the musical theatre students, with this performance being extra special to them as it raised yet more funds for our faculty charity of 2016/17 – the Teenage Cancer Trust Northwest.”
More than £1300 was raised, to be shared between East Cheshire Hospice, the Teenage Cancer Trust, and Knutsford Rotary to support causes.
