KNUTSFORD’S newest bar and restaurant is now open to the public, and the Guardian has been to have a look around.

The building, created by the designer of the Natural History Museum, Alfred Waterhouse, is the Grade II listed former town hall in Princess Street.

Inside has been transformed to represent the world of ‘mythological Victorian Professor Emily B. Kingsley, expert in the study of butterflies’.

The bar has been fitted out with hanging floral arrangements, vintage lights, leather couches and benches, to create a sense of ‘mystery’.

For drinkers, The Lost and Found serves a range of cocktails, with cocktail club from Monday to Friday from 5pm to 8pm where customers can get their favourite cocktails for £5.

The restaurant serves steaks and sourdough pizzas as well as pub classics and Sunday roasts each Sunday.

The Lost and Found is open from 11am to 11pm from Monday to Wednesday, from 11am until midnight on Thursday and Friday, from 11am to 1am on Saturday, with an earlier close on Sunday at 10.30pm.
