Long delays on A556 following failure of temporary traffic lights
DRIVERS using the A556 are facing a nightmare journey this morning following temporary traffic light failure causing long delays.
There is queuing traffic both ways on the arterial road between the M6 J19 Knutsford roundabout and Bucklowhill Lane and congestion on A50 to Wrenshot Lane.
Due to an accident last night, Wednesday, June 29, temporary traffic lights were installed at the Mere Crossroads, which have now failed causing traffic to back up through the busy rush hour.
