PLUMLEY and District Probus Club met on November 10, at the Golden Pheasant and heard a talk from Simon Mann of Chester Zoo. Simon talked about the reorganisation of the zoo arising from the Island Project, which is the biggest zoo project ever undertaken in the UK.

The next meeting will be on November 24 and will be the AGM when officers will be elected for the ensuing year and the programme for 2016 will be announced. There will be no formal speaker at this meeting but three of the club’s own members will talk about their experiences of national service.
