HOT cross buns and Easter eggs brought families together on Good Friday for Wincham Action Group's first community event.
Chapel Street children sought some tasty treasure in an egg hunt while parents tucked into hot cross buns and tea while making new friends.
WAG arranged the event in a bid to bring the residents of Lower Wincham together and due the success of this first venture the group has organised a calendar of future events including a May Day barbecue and goal shoot out in May and a summer garden party in July.
Michelle Bush, secretary, said: "WAG would like to say thank you to all the residents who supported this event and especially the children's parents as without them the event wouldn't have been a success."
