MOTORISTS were asked to avoid the Chester Road area in Plumley earlier today after a fire broke out in an outbuilding.
Three fire engines are attending a fire at an outbuilding at a farm in Chester Road.
Firefighters, two wearing breathing apparatus, are using a hose reel jet and a main jet to tackle the blaze.
Gas and electricity supplies to the building have been isolated.
“The A556 is affected by the incident - please avoid the area,” said a Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman.
