TICKETS are being snapped up for The February Forum at Knutsford Heritage Centre.

The forum, which is organised by The Friends of Knutsford Heritage Centre, boasts a series of four Saturday lunchtime talks.

he actual Rolls Royce Silver Cloud that belonged to George is now owned by Meller Braggins estate agent Rick Dallimore. The car is a familiar sight around Knutsford as it used for weddings and to transport the Royal May Queen in style each May Day.

The following week, on February 28, Knutsford genealogist Michala Hulme will be delivering a talk entitled, ‘Grim Manchester – Murders, Accidents and Deaths’, which will be based on true stories from her upcoming book, A Grim Almanac of Manchester.

All of the talks commence at 12 noon and are followed by light refreshments. Tickets cost £7 each or £6.30 to ‘Friends’ and can be purchased from the King Street centre. Call 01565 650506.  Booking is essential and numbers are limited.
