The audience at the Annual Charity Concert on the October 3, witnessed excellent performances by the Fish Lip Soup Big Band and their singer Jenn Clempner.

The Senior Citizen’s Variety Show is booked for Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Methodist Church, attention is now being given to engaging suitable acts. Will there be a Lions’ sketch, we’ll see!

The Launch Party for the new Young Leaders in Service Scheme in association with Knutsford Town Council, will be held on Tuesday, November 4.

The scheme encourages young people between the ages of eleven and eighteen to give help to the local community.

Knutsford Lions, with help from neighbouring Lions clubs, will be providing weekend assistance to Santa at High Legh Garden Centre from Saturday, November 22nd.

Social events include an amble followed by lunch at Lower Whitley on October 19 and a quiz night and meal at Toft Cricket Club on November 15.

October 9, was World Sight Day. Lions Worldwide SightFirst provide funding for projects that deliver eye care services, build or strengthen eye care facilities, train professionals and ensure awareness about eye health in under-served communities. Lions Club International have raised more than US$415 million to fund the programme which is saving sight around the world.
