BROWNIES from Knutsford had a blast when they took part in a cosmic star quest adventure to celebrate the 100th birthday of Brownies.
The girls from Knutsford were amongst 1400 Brownies from Cheshire who participated in The Big Brownie Birthday event, held at the Cheshire Showground on Saturday, June 21.
The showground was divided into four activity areas, along the themes of Past, Present, Future and Out of This World.
The exciting activities on offer included a futuristic assault course, a visit to a unique planetarium, and the chance to meet llamas and alpacas.
The fun continued into the evening, with Brownies playing games under parachutes and having a huge singsong, before settling down to spend the night under the stars in huge marquees.
Pauline McKeown, who helped at the event, said: “Every Brownie I spoke to said they were having a wonderful time.”
