RESIDENTS in Holmes Chapel have identified roads they believe need urgent attention.
At Holmes Chapel Parish Council meeting on Thursday, members acknowledged Cheshire East Highways are working against a tight budget and cold weather and are responding in a reasonable time.
However, the fact that potholes are recurring indicates that an overhaul of the highway infrastructure is required.
The council said Brookfield Drive is considered one of the worst roads in the village.
Residents are encouraged to use the Cheshire East web site to report problems and if something is not done in a reasonable time, contact clerk@holmeschapelparishcouncil.gov.uk and he will contact the authority.
Councillors added Cheshire East Council is the highway authority, and the parish council does not have the power to intervene directly.
