KNUTSFORD’S best dressed Christmas shop windows have been announced by the town council.
The annual Christmas window competition was judged by the Mayor, Clr Vivien Davies and Deputy Mayor, Clr Barbara Coan.
Five awards were presented to the shops in the town for their Christmas displays, which all add to the festive feel of the town centre.
First place went to Polished Glass for its fantastic display, and second place went to Pulse of Perfumery.
Happy Feet came third, and a special continued excellence award was presented to Knutsford Bloom, last year’s winners, for a festive display which once again drew a great deal of attention from shoppers.
The best charity shop award was presented to CAFT for its display.
“We had a difficult choice this year as so many businesses had put in so much effort in decorating their shops,” said Clr Davies.
“It was very close in these awards as we felt that everyone deserved first prize.
“It is very encouraging to note that a number of shops with little money put in so much effort to make their displays so attractive.
“Well done to all the businesses who took part.
“Their displays are greatly appreciated by the town council and I am sure also by shoppers and visitors to the town.”
