A CHRISTMAS shopping event at Arley Hall has raised more than £14,500 for the Seashell trust charity.
Elly Lees Jones, chairman of shopping spectacular committee, said: “This year’s event was perhaps our most spectacular with an amazing array of hand-picked stalls selling a fantastic selection of gifts and treats for all the family.
“It was a lovely atmosphere and we are thrilled with the positive feedback we have had from everyone involved. We are delighted to have so far raised in excess of £14,000 and donations are still coming in.
“The trust aims to transform lives by developing forms of communications for the young people in their care. “We are delighted that the money we have raised will give so many children the opportunity to develop their communication skills.”
