KNUTSFORD Royal Mayday Festival won a share of £100,000 in a community vote.
The traditional event has won £350 as part of Kumho Tyres’ ‘Cash for Causes’ campaign.
The international company pledged to make a difference by donating money to deserving causes.
Since winning the larger share of the cash after a vote, the festival intends to put the money towards new costumes and equipment.
Holly House Veterinary Surgery also received £150 and will give it to animal charities.
