TATTON Park is keeping with tradition with a Dickensian Christmas.
The mansion will be dressed for the season and open to visitors throughout next month.
In the late 19th century Christmas was lavishly celebrated by aristocratic families, including the Egertons of Tatton Park.
Colourful characters and scenes will be recreated with the assistance of Springbank Flowers design team.
This year’s scenes will include Mr Fezziwigs Ball and Miss Havisham’s cob-webbed dining room.
During November and December the rangers and gardeners will also be working on the mansion’s festive foliage.
Meanwhile, visitors will be entertained with a changing live music programme including a harpist, flautist, harpsichordist and choirs.
The mansion is open from December 1 to 23.
