CHARLTON Sir Bobby CBE Lady Norma Charlton and family would like to thank all those who have passed on their messages of condolence following the death of a much loved husband, father and grandfather. Our family would like to express our sincere thanks for the sensitive and professional care he received from everyone at The Willows Care Home, Mobberley, in his final weeks and the friendship and support they offered to us. Also we extend our thanks to the wonderful staff of A&E and Ward 11 at Macclesfield District General Hospital, for their kindness and care.

I wish to pay tribute to your husband and father on behalf of myself and family. I knew him as such a courteous man when he came to our farm (Pedley House Farm in Great Warford), often with yourselves to purchase hay for the horses. I also knew him when involved in the rebuilding of the local village hall of Ollerton and Marthall where he generously helped in the fundraising activities by the local residents being invited to have an audience with him at the Civic Centre in Knutsford.

He will be remembered and missed by so many and thoughts are with you.
