Geordie Shore’s Marnie Simpson claimed fellow former housemate Lewis Bloor was “The One” as she was evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house.
He was waiting for her as she joined Aubrey O’Day and Frankie Grande in being voted out in the show’s live final and coming fourth overall.
Only Ex On The Beach’s Stephen Bear, Mob Wives star Renee Graziano and former EastEnders actor Ricky Norwood remain.
Asked by host Emma Willis about Lewis telling his mum during one task that Marnie was “The One”, she said she felt the same way.
She told Emma that she couldn’t eat after he had been evicted, while Lewis joined in from the sidelines, telling her that he had bags under his eyes from not sleeping.
Explaining their relationship, she said: “I definitely was attracted to him but I didn’t expect to feel the way I felt.
“It turned into something more deeper than that.”
She said she felt “depressed” when he left: “I think it was just because he was me best friend in there and the days were going so fast when I was with him.”
Marnie denied that their relationship had been a staged “showmance”.
She reiterated the depth of her feelings, adding: “I went through a little bit of a breakdown halfway through I was so overwhelmed with how I was feeling for him and I’d never felt like that in such a short period of time.”
No-one was buying it.
