THE UK'S first 'virtual nature reserve' has opened at The Trafford Centre offering the chance to get 'up close' with wild animals.
Elephants, lions and giraffes feature in the fully immersive, 360-degree film which is suitable for anyone aged over five and requires the use of a VR headset.
'Wild Immersion' takes visitors on an awe-inspiring journey through the natural world. It is also educational with messages about conservation and biodiversity.
Alison Niven, centre director at Trafford Centre, said: “Wild Immersion’s Virtual Reserve is a new and exciting concept that we’re thrilled to welcome to the centre. It promises to offer a truly unique and exhilarating experience that will make the whole family smile with awe.”
The attraction can be found at The Orient and follows the launch of the Virtual Reserve in Paris.
Tickets cost £5.99 each.
