PARR Hall will host a night of back to back hits when The Stylistics come to town in November.

Jetting over from the States for a UK tour, the soul legends are known for their many hits, particularly in the 70s with the likes of the Grammy-nominated You Make Me Feel Brand New.

When they perform in Warrington on November 22, the audience can also expect to hear classics like Can’t Give You Anything (But My Love), Let’s Put It All Together, Stop Look Listen, You Are Everything, Betcha By Golly Wow, Sing Baby Sing and more.

The band was formed in Philadelphia in 1966 from two groups, The Percussions and The Monarchs.

Under the guidance of producer Bill Perry, their first song You’re a Big Girl Now was recorded at Virtue Recording Studio and topped the charts in Philadelphia and a few other cities.

Their first album also enjoyed unprecedented success, leading to the release of six singles.

Becki Mundy, from Parr Hall, said: “The Stylistics are Barrington ‘Bo’ Henderson, Jason Sharp, Airrion Love and Herb Murrell.

“They remain the real deal, fabulously entertaining and musically breathtaking, plying audiences with the hits that made them a household name.”

The Stylistics will be at the Parr Hall on November 22. Tickets are on sale now. Visit parrhall.culturewarrington.org or call the box office on 442345.
