AN alternative rock band with Warrington roots will be playing two farewell shows after announcing they are to split up.

Milestones, whose line-up includes former Priestley College student Andrew Procter on guitar, will be going their separate ways in early 2019.

Before then they will perform two final gigs for their fans including a Manchester date at Night People on January 19.

Milestones formed in 2014 and quickly caught the attention of renowned label, Fearless Records.

They cut their teeth on the live circuit supporting the likes of Hawthorne Heights, Simple Plan and Mayday Parade and released their debut album Red Lights earlier this year which was championed by the likes of the BBC Radio 1 Rock Show and Kerrang magazine.

In the process they got to collaborate with producer Phil Gornell who has worked with some of the bands who have influenced them the most like All Time Low and Bring Me The Horizon.
