EXCITING plans to celebrate the unique and special attraction of the town centre have been unveiled.

Knutsford loyalty card is being launched as part of a Shop Local Saturday promotion on June 26.

Specially printed shopping bags will be handed out by volunteers from local community group Knutsford hosts.

The 200 bags will contain freebies and discounts from shops and businesses across town.

One bag will have £50 worth of Knutsford vouchers to spend for one lucky shopper.

A Knutsford loyalty card will also be inside each bag.

This is a new scheme designed to reward shoppers who will receive a stamp for each £10 spent in participating shops.

Once their card is completed, they can post it in the post box in Little Waitrose on Princess Street. A prize draw will take place each quarter for a chance to win £50 of Knutsford vouchers.

Sandra Curties, Knutsford Town Council’s town centre and marketing Officer, said, “We hope to see lots of people shopping locally on 26th June, discovering the range of products you can buy in our town – from candles to fireguards, houseplants and lightbulbs as well as listening to some tunes, picking up a goody bag and possibly winning £50 of vouchers."
