A NEW Strictly Come Dancing extravaganza will be taking to the stage next year.

Strictly Presents: The Power of Dance will be on tour from June and will then cha-cha-cha around 23 UK venues, including Warrington's Parr Hall on Friday, July 2.

The all new sequin-clad show will feature Strictly professional dancers Janette Manrara, Dianne Buswell, Amy Dowden and Neil Jones – together with two very special guest stars to be announced soon – 'who will tell the story of what it is to be a dancer'.

Welsh-born Amy has been dancing since she was eight and made it to the Strictly final in 2019.

Janette first joined Strictly in 2013. Over the years she’s been paired with EastEnders star Jake Wood, pop singer Peter Andre, comedian Melvin Odoom, JLS member Aston Merrygold and Paralympic table tennis champ Will Bayley.

Dianne Buswell, made it to the final in 2018 with Joe Sugg, and Neil has been on Strictly since 2016. In 2019, he made it to the quarter final with ex-footballer Alex Scott.

A spokesman for The Power of Dance said: Directed and choreographed by former Strictly professional dancer Trent Whiddon and his wife Gordana Grandosek, this tour will give each of these incredible performers the opportunity to tell the audience about their relationship with dance through stunning choreography and beautiful storytelling.

"Audiences will enjoy an array of magical music and dazzling dance from all around the world – from Latin and ballroom to rock and roll and street dance and everything in between."

Tickets are from £35 and are on sale from tomorrow, Friday, at parrhall.culturewarrington.org
