FINAL preparations would normally be under way ahead of the Creamfields festival in Daresbury.

But as the bank holiday dance festival has been cancelled, the organisers will be bringing music to living rooms for the ‘Creamfields House Party’ 2020 edition on August 29 and 30.

There is a two-day line-up for the virtual festival and Cream HQ have raided the vault and cherry picked some of the best sets from Creamfields over the past few years which will feature performances from the likes of Alan Fitzpatrick, Annie Mac, Armin van Buuren, Camelphat, Carl Cox, deadmau5, Fatboy Slim and Pete Tong.

As part of the weekend broadcast Creamfields have joined forces with one of the UK’s long-established mental health charities ‘Mind’ to raise awareness and money for this vital service.

Kathleen Miles, director of fundraising at Mind, said: “We are so grateful to the organisers of the prestigious Creamfields Festival for choosing to support Mind through their Virtual Weekender.

"The virtual festival will be an important platform to raise awareness of mental health problems, particularly amongst young people. The support from Creamfields is vital in helping us to reach those in need and letting them know that they are not alone.”

The Creamfields House Party kicks off on Saturday, August 29 from 2pm to 2am and Sunday, August 30 from noon to 11pm and streamed via creamfields.com/houseparty.

Fans can also watch via YouTube, Twitch and Beatport, and all those joining the ‘house party’ will get the chance to enter an array of exclusive competitions across the weekend with tickets and money can’t buy prizes up for grabs.
