NOTICE OF TEMPORARY LANE CLOSURE -ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -London Road, Holmes Chapel
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic as follows, crossing conversion. Prohibition of traffic - London Road. Holmes Chapel (Southbound Closure) - From the junction with Macclesfield to the junction with Parkway The alternative route will be Middlewich Road, Chester Road, London Road and visa versa which is considered the most suitable route. The closures will be in place for 24 hours a day This order will come into operation on Tuesday 24 July 2018 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 3 August 2018.
