Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restriction) Act 1991, that the Cheshire East Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on that length of Public Footpath No 13 in the Parish of Middlewich commencing at Croxton Road at OSGR SJ 6976 6703 and running in a generally east, south easterly direction for approx. 243m to its junction with the canal towpath at OSGR SJ 6984 6698. The Order came into force on 21st August 2017 and will continue in force for a period of six months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. Details of alternative route An alternative route is available via Croxton Lane, Waterside Way, The Windings and a short section of Public Footpath No 6 in the Parish of Sutton.
