NOTICE OF MAKING (Knutsford Area Schools) (No Stopping) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that on the 27th April 2017 Cheshire East Borough Council made an Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4, and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers and in accordance with its duty under Section 122 of the 1984 Act.

1. The effect of the Order, which will come into operation on 8th May 2017 will be to introduce No Stopping by vehicles Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm outside the schools on the following lengths and sides of road.



Peover Superior Endowed Primary School

Chelford Lane, Knutsford (north west side) - from a point 13.5 metres north east of its junction with Stocks Lane for a distance of 37.56 metres in a north easterly direction.

Stocks Lane, Knutsford (north east side) - from a point 16.5 metres north west of its junction with Chelford Lane for a distance of 25.56 metres in a north westerly direction. Egerton Primary School

Bexton Road, Knutsford (north east side) - from a point 29 metres north west of its junction with Bexton Road for a distance of 25.56 metres in a north westerly direction. Bexton County Primary School

Bexton Lane, Knutsford (north west side) - from a point 20 metres south west of its junction with Blackhill Lane for a distance of 43.56 metres in a south westerly direction.

Blackhill Lane, Knutsford (south west side) - from a point 32 metres north west of its junction with Bexton Lane for a distance of 106.88 metres in a north westerly direction. Manor Park School

- from a point 18 metres north of its junction with Thorneyholme Drive for a distance of 25.56 metres in a northerly direction.

2. A copy of the Order; plan showing the restricted areas; a statement of reasons for making the Order, a copy of this public notice and



a copy of the public notice of the proposal to make the order may be examined during usual office hours at;

3. Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act, or any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply
