Cheshire West And Chester Borough Council Notice Of Making

TRO 2758 - Cuddington Lane, Barrastitch Lane and Mill Lane, Cuddington (40 Mph Speed Limit Order 2022)

Notice is hereby given that, on the 24th June 2022 the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council made the above Traffic Regulation Order in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 which will come into force on 24th June 2022.

The effect of the proposed order will be to prohibit any vehicle from exceeding 40mph on the lengths of road specified in the schedule.

Schedule 1 - 40 Mph Speed Limit
Cuddington Lane - from its junction with Norley Road to its junction with Bag Lane.
Cuddington Lane - from its junction with Norley Road to its junction with Bag Lane.
Barrastitch Lane - from its junction with Cuddington Lane
to its junction with Bag Lane.
Mill Lane - from the existing 30mph speed limit to its junction with Cuddington Lane.

If you wish to question the validity of the order or any of its
provisions on the grounds that any requirements of the Act
or any instruments made under it has not been complied
with, you may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the
order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Temporary Speed Reduction

TRO 3552 - A556 Chester Road in the Parish of Hartford
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intends to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily reduce the speed limit on the following length of road in Hartford from 60mph to 30mph to enable works to be carried out by Redrow Homes. A556 Chester Road Hartford - ** Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes. The Order will come into force on 23rd July 2022 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 6 weeks to complete.

Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic TRO 3550 - London Road in the Davenham, Moulton & Kingsmead Ward Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intends to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Davenham, Moulton & Kingsmead Ward to enable Sewer repairs works to be carried out by United Utilities.
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intends to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily reduce the speed limit on the following length of road in Hartford from 60mph to 30mph to enable works to be carried out by Redrow Homes.

Alternative routes for through traffic - Traffic should proceed via London Road, Davenham Bypass, St Wilfrids Roundabout, Peckmill Roundabout.

Crewood Common Road - ** Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes. The Order will come into force on 4th July 2022 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 33 weeks to complete.
