Cheshire West And Chester Borough Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic

TRO6292 - Chester Road, Whitby In Ellesmere Port

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council Intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Ellesmere Port to enable sewer connection works to be carried out by Cheshire West and Chester Council.

Chester Road, Whitby, Ellesmere Port -
Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes.
Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes.
The Order will come into force on 5th May 2022 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately two weeks to complete. Alternative routes for through traffic - Traffic should proceed via Route 1 Ribblesdale, Dale Gardens, Severnvale, Thamesdale and Chester Road or Route 2 Deeside, Fern Road and Chester Road.

TRO6288 - Dodleston Lane In Pulford, Chester Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Chester to enable Resurfacing work, works to be carried out by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. Dodleston Lane - Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS

TRO6302 - Lache Lane in Chester
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic on the following lengths of roads in Chester to enable installation of a new rising main works to be carried out by AJC Construction. One Way - Lache Lane traffic restrictions will start by closing the road to all northbound (City bound) traffic from Decoy Farm for approximately 970 metres to the point where the speed becomes 30mph.
Speed Reduction - To reduce the speed on Lache Lane from national speed to 30mph for the duration of the works starting approximately 135 metres south of Green Lane for approximately 970 metres in a southerly direction to Decoy Farm. Closure - Lache Lane will change from a one way to a complete closure from the 23 May 2022 to 27 May 2022 to facilitate safe working on the highway starting approximately 135 metres south of Green Lane for approximately 970 metres in a southerly direction to Decoy Farm. The Order continues in force the five-day notice that commenced on 25th April 2022 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately six weeks to complete. The diversionary route - Traffic should proceed via Welsh Road Roundabout, Rough Hill, A483 From Junction A55 to Junction B5445 Including Roundabout South West, A483 Junction A55 Roundabout, Roundabout A55/A483, A55 Junction A483 Join North East, Wrexham Road Roundabout, Business Park Roundabout, Wrexham Road, Overleigh Roundabout and Lache Lane.
