ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

GLEN ROAD, ELDWICK TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 1278) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecommunication works proposed to be executed on or near Glen Road, Eldwick intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Glen Road from its junction with Heather View to its junction with Sheriff Lane.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Glen Road (unaffected section), Saltaire Road, Otley Road, Sheriff Lane and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect from 08:00 hours on 30th November 2020 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on 4th December 2020 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
