ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

EGYPT ROAD, THORNTON, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 1275) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works to be executed on or near Egypt Road, Thornton has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Egypt Road from its junction with Dean Lane to a point outside No. 14/16 Dean Lane.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order will be available via Egypt Road (unaffected section), Black Dyke Lane, Old Allen Road, Dean Lane and vice versa.

The Order comes into operation between 08:00 hours and 15:30 hours on 16th November 2020 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
