NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - Plumley Moor Road, Plumley
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic as follows, lay cables for connection works.
Prohibition of traffic - Plumley Moor Road. Plumley - From the junction with Back Lane to outside Bracklyn.
The alternative route will be via Plumley Moor Road, Chester Road, Northwich Road, Manchester Road Roundabout, King Edward Road, Toft Road, Middlewich Road, Smithy Green and visa versa which is considered the most suitable route. The closures will be in place 24 hours a day.
This order will come into operation on Monday 27 July 2020 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 7 August 2020.

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 (2) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, that the Cheshire East Borough Council have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on the following footpath: That length of Public Footpath No 73 in the Parish of Wilmslow commencing at OSGR SJ 8664 8196 and running in a generally southerly for approximately 54m to OSGR SJ 8666 819.
The closure continues the restriction that came into force on 29 June 2020 and will continue in force for a period from that date for six months. The closure is necessary due to construction work on or near the footpath. An alternative route is available on site.
