The East Renfrewshire Council
(ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING PLACES) (ON-STREET & OFF STREET CAR PARKS) ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the East Renfrewshire Council in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 32, 35, 45 and 53 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act") and of all other enabling powers the East Renfrewshire Council made the above namedTraffic Regulation Order to designate spaces, both on-street and in off-street car parks, for the exclusive use of electric vehicles whilst charging and includes powers to suspend the use of such places as required.
The effect of the Order is as referred to in the Notice published in
the Glasgow EveningTimes on 18 December 2019.
A copy of the Order along with the accompanying plans, are
available for inspection online within the East Renfrewshire

ANY PERSON wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that a requirement of any such enabling
Act or any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with
may, within 6 weeks from the date on which
the Order was made, make application for
the purpose to the Court of Session.
