NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTIONS - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - RHS Flower Show 2019
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, that the Cheshire East Borough Council proposes to make orders, containing the following prohibitions and restrictions, to enable the management of volumes of traffic arising from the RHS Flower Show and thereby avoid the likelihood of danger to the public:
1. The prohibition of all traffic on the following lengths of road between Wednesday 17 July 2019 to Sunday 21 July 2019 between times 07:00-19:00
i) Rostherne Lane, Rostherne - from the junction with Chester Road to the junction with Ashley Road.
ii) Ciceley Mill Lane, Rostherne - from the junction with Mereside Road to the junction with Rostherne Lane
2. The prohibition of waiting on the following lengths of roads between Wednesday 17 July 2019 to Sunday 21 July 2019 between times 07:00-19:00
i) Garden Road, Knutsford - throughout its entire length;
ii) Mereheath Lane, Knutsford - from the junction with Garden Road to the entrance of Egerton Youth Club.
The alternative routes for traffic will be as directed by signs/traffic management operatives on site.
