BILLINGHAM Dr James William On 31st May 2022, Peacefully in hospital and of Lower Withington. Retired General Practitioner at Annandale Medical Centre, who through his long career brought help and comfort to his many patients. Much loved husband of Joy, loving step father of James and Charlie. James was known and loved by many beyond his family. Private committal at Birches Crematorium on Thursday 23rd June, followed by a Service of Thanksgiving in St Wilfrid's Church, Mobberley at 1.00 p.m. Family flowers only please, Donations if desired for the benefit of the East Cheshire Hospice, Macclesfield may be sent to J A Whiston Funeral Directors Ltd, 45C King Street, Knutsford, Cheshire, WA16 6DW. I've only found out of the passing of Dr Billingham. I was totally shocked/ emotional. Hevwas such a methodical doctor, he looked after my parents, my self, my wife,my 3 boys & myself. Infact my mother always cleaned his glasses when he visited her. Much to his amusement. I have so much to thank him for, including his diagnosis of my wifes cancer, when she was 25. He even phoned me to give his condolences when my mother passed away. Dr Billingham you were special and will be remembered as such. Rest in peace and maybe we will meet up one day. From all my family our kove is expressed to you and your family.
