BARBARA CUTHBERT Barbara Cuthbert, née Adamson, of Knutsford. On 30th October 2020 peacefully in Macclesfield Hospital. Barbara, aged 83 years, the adored and adoring wife of Walter, a much loved mum and step-mum, grandma and great grandma and a sadly missed friend. A private family funeral will be held at Tabley Cemetery on 13th November and a Service of Thanksgiving for her life will take place at Knutsford Methodist Church at a later date. Family flowers only, donations if wished for the Mid Cheshire Samaritans and Salvation Army. Donations and enquiries to Dodgson's Funeral Service, 25 Manchester Road, Knutsford, WA16 0LY. Sign in to add a tributeI am very sad and sorry to hear of Barbara's passing. You won't know me but I took over Barbara's role in 1995 as Finance Officer at Knutsford High School. Barbara taught me the job in three weeks before she retired at Christmas.I loved that short time working with her and felt I had huge shoes to fill as she was much loved by the staff.
Over the years I have bumped into her, mostly in Booths,and she has filled me in with news of her much loved family.
My thoughts are with you at this terrible time and say to take one day at a time and remember her always with love. Talk to her each day as she will always be you and your family.
