MAIR GIRDLESTONE It is with very deep sadness that Rosemary and Robert Girdlestone announce the very peaceful death at her home in Knutsford of their wonderful mother. Mair was the wife of the late David Girdlestone. Mair died on Friday, 25th January 2019, aged 90 years, she will be missed by her family and friends, especially her twin sister, Nan. Mair was born and grew up in Neath, South Wales before moving to Knutsford 44 years ago. No flowers please but donations will be most gratefully accepted for the charity Hospice at Home. The funeral service and committal will take place on St David's Day, Friday 1st March at 2.00pm at Altrincham Crematorium.
