Union Flags are flown upside down

AT a time when England/Britain is experiencing occasions for showing patriotism and a reason to fly the Union Flag, how sad then it is to see the number of these flags being presented upside down!
It would seem a lot of people do not realise that the Union Flag can be flown the wrong way up showing the sign of distress.
If you are going to be patriotic then please get it right.
