I can understand that people are peeved over airport compensation

I CAN understand why some people are getting a bit peeved I am not saying if I am getting compensation or not, but surely it is not right that Jeff Gazzard can decide who gets compensation and who does not.
This can lead to disagreements between neighbours and a lot of dissatisfaction.
When the Suffragettes got the vote for women it was not just the active women who got the vote but all women.
The same should apply here.
Never mind the Land Compensation Act and the opportunity for solicitors to make money etc, the honest and correct action by Manchester Airport should have been to award everyone compensation in the affected area, with maybe people nearer the runway getting more than those further away.
