A thank you for support given to East Cheshire Hospice

MAY I please use the columns of your newspaper to thank the people of Knutsford and the surrounding area, for their support given to the annual Christmas Tree Collection organised on behalf of East Cheshire Hospice.
Although the collection had to be deferred until last weekend this year, because of the previous bad weather, the team of over 160 volunteers collected trees with £40,084 attached by donors. I think this says a lot about how our citizens value this local charity, which does so much to help people at what, for many, is a very difficult time of their lives.
