Neighbourliness in Knutsford

I WOULD like to thank our very good neighbours for their help recently.

During the very bad weather, my husband fell on the ice and I called my neighbour to ask if he could help.

He picked up my husband and brought him inside. Nothing was broken but my husband was shaken.

The young neighbour also took me to an appointment at the Cottage Hospital, he waited for me and brought me home.

We were then frozen up for two days, and my neighbour came and defrosted everything for us. Unfortunately, two days later we had water coming through the ceiling. Our neighbours couldn’t help, so we had to call the fire brigade, who came and sorted out the problem.

Our neighbours stayed with us until they knew everything was all right.

The old saying, good comes out of bad is appropriate and I think everyone will be pleased the snow has gone.

Many thanks.

TWO VERY GRATEFUL PENSIONERS Knutsford
