Please help me.

I’m trying to find the Conservative Party. For 30 years before the 2010 general election I voted Conservative, 17 of them in Eddisbury.

Before the 2010 general election they promised a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty then reneged on that promise, so like thousands of Conservative voters I voted for UKIP, who are unequivocal in their desire to leave the EU.

In 2011 I joined UKIP and from 2014 have been a high profile activist for them: party treasurer, immigration spokesman and fought two parliamentary by-elections in 2014, nearly winning the safe Labour seat of Heywood & Middleton.

Millions who voted Leave are aghast at the incompetence of the government in carrying out the wishes of the people.

Many believe it’s deliberate, an attempt by the Remain dominated Tory party, led by a Remainer PM to keep the UK shackled to the Franco/German run protectionist bloc called the EU.

So, thousands of Leavers (including voters or members of UKIP or ex Tory party members or voters) are joining the Tory party so they can participate in the upcoming party leadership election, hoping the Tory MPs offer the members a true bloodied Leaver on the ballot paper.

In my case my application to join (I’ve never been a member before) has been rejected. It’s a standard rejection letter full of waffle. It would have been easier if the letter has stated in large font: ‘Conservatives Are Not Welcome In The Conservative Party’.

The so called Conservative Party is no longer the one nation party that dominated British politics in the 80s and 90s, in reality it’s become the Liberal Party, no longer interested in low taxes, small government, personal responsibility, sound economics (the national debt has doubled under the Tories) or free speech.

And they waste more than £12 billion each year in what’s laughingly called ‘foreign aid’ but is mainly nothing of the sort.

Anyhow, if you find the real Conservative Party please let me know - many thanks.
