IN the words of a Mr David Davis of all people, ‘A democracy isn’t a democracy if it can’t change it’s mind’.

When we have a general election, if we don’t like the government we have, if they have not kept their promises and failed to deliver, which is often the case, we can vote them out.

We get this opportunity every five years. In the case of the EU Referendum it is irreversible.

Nobody asked for the referendum, it was forced upon us by David Cameron to keep a few troublemakers in his party in check and to steal votes from UKIP.

For two years now we have been lied to, and had the real consequences hidden from us.

‘Brexit means Brexit’ whatever that means! Now that we know the truth, because people who actually know what they are talking about have told us, why shouldn’t we have another vote, as we do with general elections?

We know the facts now and we know the lies.

There are also now thousands of young voters now eligible to vote who didn’t get a say two years ago, and it’s the young people who have to live with the result.

So no, we shouldn’t just blindly accept the result if it is so obviously bad for the country and future generations.
