ALTHOUGH I fully sympathise with Richard Cussons’ comments on the nuisance caused by the artisan market in the town centre, I can’t help wondering why he would wish to live there?
For decades now, Knutsford has been allowed to become a hell-hole for shoppers, drivers and pedestrians alike, and despite excellent plans being put forward and numerous complaints to the council, nothing ever changes.
Good grief, it’s not rocket science.
All that’s needed is a multi-storey car park, no more street parking and King Street pedestrianised and anyone with an ounce of common sense could solve the problem in no time. But no, the council continues to ignore the situation and blunder along in its usual fashion, just giving lip-service when needed.
It’s a total disgrace and is time for a complete shake-up. I, for one, haven’t shopped in Knutsford for years and I never will unless things change for the better.
