Double whammy
IT has been reported that Cheshire East Council is proposing to spend more than £2 million of council taxpayer’s money to improve facilities at Tatton Park, so local taxpayers are actively supporting Tatton Park.
Whereas most National Trust properties offer free parking to members, even Trust members have to pay the exorbitant parking charges to access the facilities at Tatton Park.
So are local Trust members being hit with a double whammy and it is time for Cheshire East Council to review this iniquity?
