FIRST of all thanks for Vic Barlow’s columns in Knutsford Guardian - they are a breath of fresh air.
Regarding his piece on the NHS. On Friday, March 16 I had a telephone appointment at 11.40am with my GP for an ongoing problem. She said you had better come and see her, which I did at on Tuesday, March 20 at 10.45am.
She gave me a referral form to book an appointment with a specialist and I went to see him on Wednesday, March 21 at 1.40pm at my local community hospital, a 15-minute walk away. I am now under treatment. That is the other side of NHS.
