RESTRICTIONS on a lay-by on Mobberley Road. The prospect of more yellow lines at Longridge.
Proposed building of 250 residences off Northwich Road. All in this newspaper recently.
All involving cars and parking problems.
If you want people to work in the town, then give them places to park cars.
If you want people to live in the town, and shop in the town, then give them places to park cars.
Around 250 residences creates roughly 400 extra vehicles.
A total of 1,000 residences creates roughly 1,600 extra vehicles. Where can all these vehicles park if the occupants shop or work in the town?
Any answers councillors? Or will it be the usual inactivity except for more yellow lines painted over potholes? Councillors, local or county, what’s your response?
