AS a retired solicitor I have usually voted Conservative.

However, recently the Conservative Party have been showing a lack of respect to their loyal voters here in Tatton.

Firstly, George Osborne prioritised getting rich over representing his constituents.

Then, when he announced that he would stand down, the Conservatives decided to allow Esther McVey to be the Conservative Party candidate for Tatton at the upcoming election.

Now if Katherine Fletcher had been selected as the Conservative Party candidate I probably would have voted for her.

However, after speaking to both Esther McVey (who is from Liverpool) and Gareth Wilson (who is from Mobberley) recently I am now convinced Ms McVey is the wrong choice for Tatton and Mr Wilson is the right choice.

As it is unlikely to be a close election result this time I would encourage others who normally vote Conservative to instead vote for Mr Wilson.

If people do, then maybe the Conservative Party will pick the best candidate for Tatton in the future, rather than the one Conservative central office want to get a seat in the Houses of Parliament.
