HAMPERS of Hope would like to thank the Knutsford community for its ongoing support for our work in relieving poverty in Knutsford.

Over the Christmas period many donated to our Christmas Hamper appeal and we were overwhelmed with people’s generosity.

We were able to provide around 400 food hampers to families in need in north east Cheshire.

Many of these were Knutsford families and individuals.

The food we receive on a weekly basis or at school and church harvest collections is invaluable.

We thank everyone for their consistent support for our local Knutsford foodbank.

This has enabled us to help over 10,000 in north east Cheshire since we began in 2011.

However, it is the ongoing work in our Hope centres that provide the long-term change that many need.

Our Knutsford Hope Centre is based at the Knutsford council offices on Mondays from10am until 12.30pm.

It is provided by Hampers of Hope in partnership with local churches and support from volunteers from these local churches: Knutsford Full Gospel, St John’s, Knutsford Methodist Church, St Cross and Toft Church.

We run our free job club from here which has recently supported many people back into work.

We also run craft activities, basic IT training and money management courses from our Hope Centre.

Everyone is welcome.

We look forward to continuing to partner with the people of Knutsford throughout 2017, as we aim to relieve poverty, restore dignity and revive hope in North East Cheshire.
