REGARDING the letter about having a ‘dog ban’.
These days you are frowned upon for not being a dog lover, but I’m afraid some of us do exist.
For me, purely because I’ve not been brought up around dogs and I am quite nervous when I see a set of sharp teeth come bounding up to me and my children, especially when some dogs are often larger than my youngest.
I would never suggest dog free days, but would love people to be aware that not everyone is a fan of having a dog come up and sniff them and want patting.
I would request dog owners respect our feelings, but the park is certainly there for everyone to enjoy.
