IT was with a sense of dismay and anger that I read your story concerning George Osborne’s £200k part-time job with Black Rock.

It is inconceivable that he can dedicate the necessary time and energy to serving Tatton and Black Rock effectively.

There are serious issues surrounding the rampant development of housing in the borough at a time when hospitals, schools and other vital services are struggling to deal with existing demands.

These issues are acutely important and demand Mr Osborne’s urgent attention.

The Knutsford Conservative office’s suggestion that he can combine the two roles is risible, and only serves to illustrate the contempt in which the people of Tatton are held.
